Meet Dr. Peter Zaleski

Dr. Peter Zaleski has been a Professor of Economics at Villanova University since 1987, where he teaches economics at the undergraduate and MBA level. He served as department chair from 2002–2007 and 2015–2021.

Dr. Zaleski is the author or co-author of over two dozen scholarly publications, with research focusing on empirically testing models of firms, industries, and public policies. His work has appeared in Business Economics, Managerial and Decision Economics, Journal of Business and Economics, and Review of Industrial Organization.

As a consultant to Fortune 500 companies and small businesses, Dr. Zaleski has conducted economic impact studies of the gaming industry through Meadows Metrics, performed conjoint analysis and discrete choice modeling with Chilton Research and LHK Partners, developed pricing simulators for multinational agribusiness firms through Aubrey Analytics, and created patented forecasting software for Planalytics.

Dr. Zaleski has provided testimony before Pennsylvania Legislative Committees, economic analysis for state legislators in three states, and expert written testimony in over fifty economic loss lawsuits annually. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland.
